There is no more iconic symbol of Spain than the bullfight pitching the well-dressed matador against a raging bull in the center of the bullfight arena. In the post-World War II era, as the economies of the world were growing rapidly, tourist travel increased tremendously. The countries of the world were competing for the attention of the new visitors. In this well executed image created by Antonio Casero we we the matador with his cape eluding the charging bull. One can well imagine the excitement of watching one of these events in Spain at a festival of bullfights.
