Dame Eileen Mayo (1906 - 1994) was born in England and emigrated to Australia in 1953. She is most well known for her paintings, illustrations, and prints of wildlife. She studied under Fernand Leger in Paris in the 1940s, and was highly prolific in almost every medium of art imaginable.
