Cowboy (or girl, in this case) culture is on full display in this fun and spunky poster from 1927. 'Betsy' was an operetta in three parts, produced for the French stage. The artist of this poster, Pascal Bastia (1908 - 2007) was also the songwriter for the operetta, which is quite unusual. Bastia was famous for his operettas and songwriting skills and his last song was written in 2000 when he was 92 years old. It appears that Bastia was most comfortable as a musician; this was the only poster he created that we could identify.
