Everyday citizens were encouraged to salvage whatever scrap metal they could find in order to help with the War Effort. In this comic strip inspired poster created by the U.S. Navy, a character named 'Doc Salvage' shows the viewer just how their efforts can be useful in the war abroad. This poster is an Official Navy Poster commissioned for the Industrial Incentive Division.
