A sky full of colorful airplanes streaks across a radiant blue field, bordered at the sides by a black-and-white check and capped with fluttering pennants. Biplanes, early monoplanes, and toy-like jets bank and loop above a tiny airfield, where a bus and a red fire engine anchor the ground scene. The playful, flat color and crisp outlines read like a child’s encyclopedia of flight—graphic, readable, and meant to delight—while the “Fioruccino” cartouche at bottom identifies this as part of the brand’s kids range. Designer uncredited; typical of Fiorucci’s studio-driven visuals, late 1970s–early 1980s.“Fioruccino” was Fiorucci’s dedicated range for kids—scaled-down denim, tees, and accessories delivered with bright cartoon graphics and gentle humor. Characters, vehicles, and alphabet-style motifs like this air-parade appeared on shop signage, packaging, and posters, which doubled as in-store décor and ready-to-hang room art. The simplified shapes and bold palette made the imagery easy to read from a distance and instantly appealing for nurseries, playrooms, and children’s boutiques.Founded in Milan in 1967 by Elio Fiorucci (1935–2015), the label fused Italian flair with London and New York street culture to forge a pop-forward identity—leopard prints, metallics, neon color, and cheeky, collectible graphics. Its New York flagship opened in 1976 and quickly became a cultural magnet—the “daytime Studio 54”—cementing the brand’s strong U.S. presence and making its posters, shop ephemera, and ad imagery highly sought after. This is an Original Vintage Poster, it is not a reproduction.
