"Injuries Are Caused by Using Unsafe Tools" is a c1943 poster created by Ralph Moses for the National Safety Council. Various broken and dangerous tools are shown in an artistically arranged composition.
The National Safety Council is a non-profit, public service organization that is separate from the U.S. Government. It was founded in 1913 at the birth of the American Labor Movement to advocate for workplace safety.
During World War II, worker safety was a major theme of public service announcements. These messages often promoted the importance and need of production on the homefront. Other themes relating to the workforce included healthy eating, proper usage of tools, and warnings about taking too much time off from work.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster has been archivally backed onto linen and is in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
