The International Stock Food Company was based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. International Stock Food Company was owned by Marion Savage, a Minnesota-based entrepreneur for whom the town of Savage, Minnesota, was named. In the early 1900’s they commissioned a series of poster to promote their feed products featuring "3 feeds for one cent" along with a series of testimonials for the farmers to guide themselves by. In this image we see the farmer feeding his pigs and can’t help but notice the text " It will make your sows raise more pigs." This 100+ year old poster brings us back to a simpler time in the life of a farmer and his animals.
