J.B. Louvet Bicyclette is a French advertisement from c. 1930 by the artist Mich. The poster depicts an eager rider, who tests the bicycle by riding up a ladder exclaiming, "It climbs everything!" This light-hearted poster has a direct composition that emphasizes the name of J.B Louvet as the base. The red background, large yellow lettering, as well as the playful scene work well to grab the viewers' attention.

Michel Liebeaux (1881-1923), better known as Mich, was a poster artist who was active in the early twentieth century. Although his career was short, he produced a number of well-known French posters in the area of bicycles and automobiles. He was also an illustrator for the premier French auto-racing paper, L'Auto.
