This poster is an advertisement for the production "La Revue Des Folies des Paris" (The Review of Madness in Paris) at the Folies Bergere. This production, presented by Edouard Zaccone featured Maurice Lambert and "Un cocktail de femmes", or a cocktail of women. The poster image features a young woman with signs on either arm which read "La Revue Des Folies de Paris," and "Un cocktail de femmes". The poster uses pink and blue colors which were used to demonstrate the fun, party environment of the Folies Bergere at the time.

The Folies Bergere is a widely known cabaret music hall located in Paris, France. Meeting the height of its fame from the 1890’s through the 1920’s, The Folies Bergere is popular for its extravagant costumes, sets and special effects. Still operating today, the institution is a strong symbol of French and Parisian life.
Gaston Girbal (1888 -1978) was a French illustrator and painter known for his poster work for the Folies Bergere, Edith Piaf, Josephine Baker, Genevieve Guiltry, Casino de Paris and other numerous theater companies (Wikipedia).
