This very striking poster evokes the spirit of the 1930’s as open road driving in Europe was growing in popularity and women were encouraged to drive. The attractive and stylish woman in the image is learning how to drive at the Latterman school of driving in Vienna, Austria. The text of the poster says (in German) "For those who cannot drive yet, visit the Latterman school." This driving school is still in business, 80 years after this poster was created.
The artist who created the design is Rudolf Raudnitsky ( 1909 – 1980) who was Austrian and known for his work in commercial design. He was both a commercial artist as well as a poster designer and in his career formed a studio Hussi – Raudnitsky.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
