The poster carries the tagline, “The Pearl of French Medieval Art,” for the medieval architecture of the town centered on the monastery. The town was built on a hill top that is naturally protected by the changing tides that surround it as an island at times during the year.Throughout the years, SNCF has commissioned prominent artists to depict well known destinations in France.
