This Our America – Oil Gives A Thousand Benefits poster is the third out of four posters in the oil set which were part of an educational series commissioned by the Coca-Cola Company in 1942 and created by an anonymous artist.

The series focused on American industry and were utilized as classroom aides during WWII. This specific poster focuses on the various benefits of oil; The predominant image, a beachside family, is flanked by 8 smaller vignettes depicting oils’ multitude of uses, from asphalt pavement to perfume.
