The series focused on American industry and were utilized as classroom aides during WWII. This specific poster focuses on the uses of oil in the new world; The predominant image featuring a scientist, is flanked by 8 smaller vignettes depicting oil in its multitude of future and current uses, from lighting a stormy sea to setting unified standards.
