The 1950s was the beginning of a tremendous growth in the development of consumer electronics throughout Europe. The Philips Company was one of the largest of the manufacturers of radios, record players, and televisions as well as other household appliances. Based in Holland, Philips commissioned this poster for the French market.
This poster was created by an anonymous artist and printed by the Elvinger studio, which did a lot of poster work for Philips over the years. A cat is astounded by the clear picture of a fish on the latest Philips television screen. It is a charming and timeless image - the look on the fish's face is priceless!
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
