The magic of of the theater shines in this poster for the musical, Rose Marie. Originally performed in 1924 on Broadway, the show was a sensation and stayed on stage for 577 performances. It was the biggest hit of the early 1920s, and its songs became very popular with the general public. This poster was printed for the London production of the musical, which was staged in 1925.
The story of Rose Marie follows an eponymous main character and her romantic pursuits in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
