DD- Prix d'Elegance is a sweet 1950s poster for the Doré Doré brand of socks. They are shown here as the 'class sock', with a star pupil proudly wearing his socks without shoes.

Doré Doré was founded in 1819 by Jean-Baptiste Doré. The company is the oldest French brand of socks and tights. Their children's division, which opened in 1926, is known for its colorful geometric designs. The company is still in production today, although manufacturing has transferred to an Italian based plant.

This is an Original Vintage Poster. It is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
