George Hand Wright (1872 - 1951), a painter and illustrator from Pennsylvania, was commissioned to create this vintage war poster in 1917 to promote joining the US Navy. It was produced during WWI. It shows a line of sailors, ending with a diverse group of men showing that Navy men come from all different backgrounds.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
