This LMS poster features bold Futurist design, created with French text. Its message is aimed at the French market, encouraging use of the British railway system.
Raymond Virac (1892-1946) was a French Impressionist & Modern artist who studied at the Académie Julian and the École des Beaux Arts de Paris. His work took him to Vietnam, where he won the Prix d'Indochine in 1927, and Madagascar, where he received the Prix de Madagascar in 1939.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
