This is an original vintage poster created in the late 1930's to promote a biscuit called Le Petit Ecolier (The Little Student) . It depicts the traditionally clothed French schoolboy eating his favorite biscuit made by the Lefevre Utile ( LU) Biscuit Company. That same biscuit is still being produced to this day.
The artist, Fermin Bouisset was especially well regarded for his lifelike portrayal of children in many posters that he created for the Lefevre Utile Company. This poster was printed using stone lithographic plates.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
