Sabena - You're in Good Hands

SABENA is an acronym for The Societé Anonyme Belge d'Exploitation de la Navigation Aérienne, or Belgian Corporation for Air Navigation Services. It was an airline based in Belgium, started in the 1930s, which flew to European destinations and Belgian colonies. It was the national airline for Belgium until 2001 when its assets were sold off and it became what is today Brussels Airlines.

In the post World War ll era, tourist travel was rapidly growing and airlines were expanding and adding modern aircraft. In this image by an anonymous artist, we view a smiling infant in the arms of a warm flight attendant with a Mother and Father in the background. The message is clear - fly safely and enjoy Sabena as "You're in Good Hands".
