Skansen is the name of the world’s oldest open air museum, founded in 1891 by Artur Hazelius. Hazelius wanted to bring the traditional rural culture to life by exhibiting furnished houses and farmsteads, cultivated plots and gardens and both domestic and wild animals. When Skansen started, its focus was on farming and Sami culture. It is located in the city limits of Stockholm, Sweden.
In this image created by Ivar Haeggstroms we view a pair of Lynx perched and looking out at the world. They are part of the family of animals to be seen at Skansen.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

What Does 'Original' Mean?
We only deal in original vintage posters, never reproductions. This means that every poster is from the original print run, in the year listed in the description. Everything we sell comes with an individually signed certificate of authenticity, which we fully guarantee.
