The magic of winter in Sun Valley, Idaho is on display in this mid-'40s poster created by Union Pacific Railroad. A magical snow witch twirls while casting her spell upon those vacationing in the region. We see skiers, skaters, sunbathers, and even dogsledders enchanted with the beauty of the area.
The Union Pacific Railroad was founded in 1862 under Abraham Lincoln's Pacific Railway Pact. It was the first transcontinental railroad, connecting the overpopulated East Coast of America with the rural, opportunity-filed West. The vast land between the coasts became America's Heartland, in many ways due to the service of the Union Pacific.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters

What Does 'Original' Mean?
