This is an action-packed poster created by the U.S. Navy during WWII. Under the cover of darkness, we see a US Naval Ship attack a Japanese destroyer. A memo from Lt. Cmdr. John Bulkeley is placed atop the churning sea, urging those on the Home Front to increase production in factories that supply the Navy. This poster is printed in a rare size not often seen in World War ll posters.
Jon Whitcomb (1906 - 1988) was an American illustrator who created many images during WWII for the American government. He served in the Navy and was hired to depict active battle scenes in addition to his military service.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.

What Does 'Original' Mean?
We only deal in original vintage posters, never reproductions. This means that every poster is from the original print run, in the year listed in the description. Everything we sell comes with an individually signed certificate of authenticity, which we fully guarantee.
