The community of Villars Chesieres has a long history as a detination for skiing as well as for summer activities. The mountains in the area are called the Dents du Midi they reach a level of over 1300 metres. This image shows the beauty of golf in the area and encourages a spring/summer visit after the ski season is over. Issued in 1948 soon after the end of World War ll, this image tried to attract an affluent clientele.
